Evelyn is a single mom of 5 kids. She is a determined person who is the
center of her kids lives. She is a Christian who has suffered a relapse
of her stomach cancer that had been in remission for 5 years.

Evelyn's sister died several years ago from a similar type cancer and
took every option medicine at the time had to offer and suffered
horribly. Evelyn is up in the air whether to take the same route.

Please pray for her recovery so she can see her youngest graduate from
high school, and Whitney her daughter can have her mom through her
teenage years.

This concern has touched my heart. I will definitely pray for healing in
Evelyn's life.
I will also lift up her children in prayer as well.

Perhaps the prayers working. A prominent person came forward and
offered to pay for an alternative oncologist. Evelyn is uncertain she
wanted to accept this offer. We encouraged her to accept the offer, as
this seems a likely answer to our prayers. Evenlyn said she wasn't sure
she was worthy, and wasn't comfortable having someone else pay her
medical bills. We told her we can't know how God responds to our
prayers, but we have to believe He will.

We have to accept her decision, but I'm going to pray she accepts the
offer. We told her that she knows these people from her work in the
community, they know and respect her, and they wouldn't offer if they
didn't have the resources. Keep praying.

Oh and I made a mistake in my first post. Evelyn has six children. My
mistake. Please keep the prayers coming.
